Heddon village notes

HEDDON Methodist Church will hold a garden party in the peace garden tomorrow at 3pm.

The afternoon will consist of cakes, scones and refreshments, with quizzes and games for all the family.

FRIENDS of Heddon First School would like to thank everyone who helped to make this year’s summer fair a huge success and raising a large total of £1,242.

A couple of members of the committee are departing due to their children moving to the middle school.

The school staff would like to add their sincere thanks to all the committee members who have worked so hard and tirelessly throughout the year.

All the children benefit from their fund-raising and many treats would not be possible without their efforts.

HEDDON First School showed off what talent its pupils have as they held the annual Heddon’s Got Talent in the school hall yesterday in front of the teachers and school attendees.
