SUCCESS in the LBA competition is not the first honour for Annie Barr Associates.
It is a former regional winner of the If We Can You Can initiative, run by the Entrepreneurs’ Forum. And last year it won a United Kingdom Trade and Investment competition for a market trip to the United Arab Emirates.
Annie Barr established the business in 2009, offering bespoke training courses for healthcare professionals.
And since then she has embarked on an expansion programme, which has seen the business move into overseas markets.
In 2012 alone, Annie Barr Associates delivered more than 40 training events across England.
The business is looking forward to an advertising campaign in the Courant to raise its profile, and is wanting advice from mentors on how to grow the market and exploit potential overseas opportunities.
