French hits on silver screen

FRENCH cult hits Jean de Florette and Manon des Sources will be shown in a double bill by the Film in the Theatre Club at Hexham’s Queen’s Hall on Sunday, beginning at 2pm.
They tell the story of an avaricious landowner who scuppers a neighbouring property, only to discover the victim’s true identity years later.
