BARRASFORD Methodist church is holding a coffee morning and cake stall tomorrow at 10.30am. All are welcome.
THE Sinks and Amy Ridley will be playing in Barrasford village hall on Friday, July 11. Ticket price will include supper and they can be bought from Michelle Nixon or Lindsay Shepherd. Look out for the posters around the village.
BARRASFORD Scout Group is holding a family fun evening on Friday, July 18, from 6pm until 8.30pm.
Tickets available from Victoria Binovec, Kelly Adshead, Yvonne Weir, Paul Mordue, Julie Philips, and Judith Ridley.
Ticket price will include barbecue, salads and puddings. The bar will be open.
Also available via the ticket will be face painting, fun and games including water slides (bring your towels). It is hoped many of the community will come and support the event. All are welcome.
VOLUNTEERS are invited to join the cleaning rota at Chollerton church.
A small band of loyal helpers help to keep the church clean on a regular basis, but none have access to the elixir of eternal youth!
It takes two hours for two people to dust, vacuum etc. Anyone willing to assist, or who would like more information, please contact Ken Carlisle on (01434) 689996 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
A BENEFICE safari supper will be held on Friday, July 18, (more details to follow).
KEEP your eyes open for bacon butties on Saturday mornings at Chollerton church during the summer – a treat not to be missed.
