With log houses big business in Finland, Ikihirsi has a huge reputation and is ranked in the top 10 of providers in the country.
Jacksons had worked with the Finnish company previously, helping West Woodburn farmer Billy Findler transform a wetland on his farm into a lakeside treat for visitors with three state-of-the-art lodges.
Now, Jackson’s has been asked by Ikishiri to continue the relationship.
Owner Michael Jackson said: “It is a real bonus for us and it is good for us to deal with such a high profile, quality business such as Ikishiri.
“Our company turnover has gone down as a result of the poor weather, so this is another revenue stream, an addition to what we already provide and a real feather in our cap.”
