THE “voice” of Prudhoe’s Dragon Tale Theatre Group Wendy Neal will carry the Olympic Torch through her home town on June 16.
Nominated by her son, Alex, and fellow group member, Amy Keirl, producer and director Wendy said: “They call me ‘the voice’, but I think that’s because I’m the loudest person there!
“I get quite emotional just thinking about carrying the torch. I’ve lived in Prudhoe all my life and I’m really, really proud of the town.”
