NORTHERN Alliance side Wallington conquered Northern League opposition to make the next round of the Northumberland FA Senior Benevolent Bowl.
An excellent performance saw them defeat high flying Heaton Stannington 3-1, a team they lost heavily to last term in the final of the League Cup.
Joining them in the draw for the quarter-finals is Wearside League outift Prudhoe Town who were comfortable 4-1 victors over the Alliance's Wallsend Town.
However, both Stocksfield and Heddon failed to progress as the former lost 2-0 at Shankhouse and the latter were well beaten 6-0 by the higher ranked Blyth Town.
Ponteland United are through to the next round of the Alliance League Cup, coming away from Alnwick Town Reserves with a 5-3 victory.
Hexham went down 3-1 to Division One leaders North Shields Athletic but Chopwell lead Division Two as they defeated Whitburn Athletic 3-1.
Ryton and Crawcrook Albion, meanwhile, slumped to their 10th defeat in Northern League Division Two as they lost 4-1 to Jarrow Roofing.

THREE watercolour paintings donated by Queen Mary were auctioned off to raise money for a new Darby and Joan club in Hexham.
A site had already been bought, but a further £6,000 was needed to run the club for the elderly.
The auction, opened by Viscountess Allendale, saw the paintings raise over £8 for the fund.
