Tynedale's poor away form continues

TYNEDALE'S away day blues continued as they returned from Fylde on the back of a 38-3 hiding.
They were unable to live with their hosts in the second half despite enjoying a numerical advantage when home scrum half Jordan Dorrington was shown the red card before the break.
The visitors, struggling for form this season, were in with a shout at half time, behind by nine points with two tries, one converted, one not, against them.
They had a successful penalty conversion to their name in reply, but that was as good as it got.
The 14-men of Fylde ran riot following the restart, four tries going against them to ensure maximum points for the home side and none for their guests.
Both Ponteland and Prudhoe and Stocksfield picked up losing bonus points in their respective defeats, Pont losing 18-13 away to bottom club Gateshead in Durham and Northumberland One and P&S running Hartlepool close in League Two before going down 17-15.

The Miners' Hall at West Wylam was officially re-opened after undergoing extensive renovation.
Built as a cinema with a sloping floor 15 years previously, a ladies' cloakroom had been added and the floor levelled to turn it into a dance hall.
The work cost £500, half of which came from the Northumberland Miners' Association.
