Tynedale line up against old mates

COCK-A-HOOP Tynedale travel to second-placed Rosslyn Park brimming with a dual purpose on Saturday.

Not only do they want to maintain the form that has seen them climb out of the relegation zone, but they also have a point to prove against no fewer than three former team-mates.
The London side’s line-up has long included ex-Tynedale forwards Sam Shires and Richard Boyle, but they have now been joined by Ollie Steadman.
Steadman established himself as a talented but abrasive character in his short spell at Corbridge, and a number of ex-team-mates will relish playing against him.
Tynedale welcome back skipper Jack Harrison for his latest comeback following an arm injury, and also back is Hamish Smales. Hooker Stephen Ridley is unavailable, but Tynedale can call on the services of George McGuigan from the Falcons.
Rosslyn Park have lost only twice at home since Tynedale won there 37-23 in January 2012.
The two successful visiting teams were Fylde (44-24) in March 2012 and Blackheath (15-12) in February this year.
They have won 10 of their 11 home games this season and have the meanest defence in the league, conceding a meagre 39 tries.
