Treble chance for Haltwhistle

HALTWHISTLE Conservatives are targeting their third piece of silverware this season.

They head into Sunday's John Pickworth League Cup final with Hexham Phoenix hoping to keep alive their dreams of a quadruple.

The final will be played at Haydon Bridge, with a 10.30am kick off.

Meanwhile, the  winners of the inaugural Mick Simmons Trophy will be decided on Tuesday night when Division Two side Haydon Bridge Anchor host Division One runners-up Stocksfield. The game will also be played at Haydon Bridge.
