Stocksfield aim for three from three

STOCKSFIELD will go into Saturday's trip to Tillside full of confidence about making it three wins from three in the Northumberland Cricket League.

Their hosts went down to a seven wicket defeat at the hands of Corbridge last time out - a team Stocksfield beat on day one of the season as they set their stall out early.

Apart from early frontrunners Bates Cottages, Stocksfield are the only team in the Premier Division who have two wins to their name and they hope to make it three against a side who fielded eight teenagers in their defeat to Corbridge.

After their easy success, Corbridge go looking to build on the win when they travel to Warkworth who boast a similar record with one win and one defeat.

In Division Two, Corbridge II welcome Whitley Bay II to the Stanners.
