Stocksfield after favour from Corbridge

VICTORY for Stocksfield at Clara Vale could send them to the top of the Northumberland Cricket League.

But that will all depend on whether main rivals Corbridge can do them a favour by defeating table topping Bates Cottages when they welcome them to the Stanners.

Sitting in second just one point behind Bates, Stocks will feel they have a good chance of jumping to the top if they overcome Clara who are down in eighth.

Corbridge will be gunning for the scalp of Cottages as, although they are 23 points off top spot, a victory would help them close the gap on the top three and put them back in the hunt near the top.

In Division Two, a trip to second placed New Hartley Village is on the cards for Corbridge II.
