Prudhoe and Bardon Mill meet again

THE two promoted teams from Division Two resume hostilities for the fourth time this season.

This time the Division Two KO Cup is up for grabs when league champions Prudhoe Social Club and runners-up Bardon Mill meet at Wentworth Leisure Centre on Sunday morning.

Having beaten their rivals to the championship, Prudhoe have enjoyed the upper hand with victories in both league fixtures. However, they have not had it all their own way with Mill getting their own back with success in the John Pickworth League Cup.

In league action, Stocksfield have the opportunity to claim runners-up spot in Division One as they host Barrasfford in their game in hand over Wylam. Only three points will do though as a point will take them level on points but still 10 goals off.

In the only game scheduled for the Mick Simmons Trophy, Division One rivals Allendale and Ryton and Crawcrook Albion clash.
