Late show sends Wallington top

THEY left it late, but Wallington grabbed a point to go level on points at the top of the Northern Alliance.

Two goals in the remaning five minutes saw them overturn a 2-0 deficit at home to Carlisle City, and join Blyth Town, whose game at Killingworth Station was postponed, on 37 points for the season.

There was frustration for Prudhoe Town when they made the trip to Sunderland West End in the Wearside League, narrowly going down 3-2.
