ROSE and Crown Bellingham's pursuit of their first win in the Hexham and District Sunday League this year takes them to champions Haltwhistle Conservatives this weekend.
Bottom of Division One, Bellingham picked up their first point in their 3-3 draw with The Falcon Prudhoe but face a tough task in improving on that on Sunday when they face second placed Haltwhistle.
In the only other game scheduled in the division, Allendale, on the back of a 12-2 thumping to Barrasford, welcome Prudhoe Town.
Prudhoe Social Club are yet to concede a goal as they have won all seven of their opening games in Division Two and will be confident of maintaining their impressive start when they host an improved Warden Boatside.
Looking to keep in touching distance of the leaders, Bardon Mill travel to Acomb Welfare.
The rest of the league is in cup action, with Division One leaders Stocksfield hosting Barrasford in the Tommy Jackson President's Cup.
In the same competition, Wylam welcome The Falcon and Hexham Hearts host Haydon Bridge Anchor.
Phoenix Chopwell have a home tie with Dr Syntax Prudhoe in the John Pickworth League Cup, while Ryton and Crawcrook Albion host Bowburn in the Durham FA Sunday Cup.

HAVING raised over £1,000 through prize draws, dances, whist drives and donations, Bellingham was able to buy its town hall.
So successful was the fund-raising that when all the debts were cleared more than £100 was left in the fund.
The hall could now be used by the town for all manner of social and public functions.
