The minimum bid is just £15 +VAT for a space worth more than 5 times that amount, a platform your business can use to promote themselves to a potential audience of more than 43,000 readers!

Welcome to the Hexham Courant’s advertising auction!

Premium Position Advert Auction

1. You are bidding for a 5x2 (50mm high x 67mm wide) advertising space on the ‘Under £100’ section of the Hexham Courant next Friday, worth £78+vat. It is one of the most viewed pages of the whole paper with a potential audience in excess of 43,000 people!

2. You can bid between 10am and 3pm every Friday, for the following Friday’s paper.

3. The bids received will be updated on our website every 30mins. You can bid more than once! The minimum value is £15+vat.

4. You must include on your email: amount (excluding vat), name, business name and daytime telephone number.

5. The advertiser with the highest bid at 3pm every Friday will ‘win’ the space.

6. The winner will be contacted by a member of staff from the Hexham Courant. We will require the advert copy no later than 12 noon on the Tuesday. Content needs to be ‘legal, decent, honest and true’ in accordance with advertising
guidelines.

7. Prepayment for the advert is required unless you hold an account with us.

8. An example of how your advert will appear is below. Although we cannot guarantee the exact placement of the advert, it will be surrounded by lineage adverts ensuring it stands out.
