Tynedale: Poor transport
THE poor 685 bus service from Newcastle to Carlisle needs to improve and be brought up to a far higher and up to date standard. The buses, provided by Arriva and Stagecoach, are antiquated, uncomfortable, dirty and unreliable. These buses are needing a fleet replacement now. They seem to be cast-offs from other services.
